Ask us if you if you have a question about a service you don’t see listed.

Give us 48 hour notice for prescriptions. The State of North Carolina requires a valid current veterinary-patient-client relationship in order for us to prescribe medications. Your pet will need to be seen at least once within the past year to refill or prescribe any prescription medication or food. Some medications may require regular lab monitoring, in which case there may be additional requirements.

Spay and Neuter Surgery

Our veterinary team recommends the Preferred Spay and Neuter options to ensure your pet has the safest experience while under anesthesia.

  • Please call our team at (828) 417-7768 to schedule your pet’s surgery.
  • A $50 deposit is required to reserve your pet’s spot for surgery. This deposit is applied toward the cost of your invoice, and is fully refundable if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance.
Preferred Cat Spay

  • Pre-surgical bloodwork* - checks for hidden problems to ensure the safest experience for your cat.
  • Spay Surgery
  • Anesthesia
  • IV Catheter and Fluids* - helps to stabilize blood pressure and flushes anesthesia from the organs quickly.
  • Pain medication**
  • Elizabethan Collar to prevent your pet from licking surgical site.

* Bloodwork and IV Fluids are mandatory for patients age 7 +.
