Allie Stevens earned her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and went on to receive her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016. Early in her career, Allie practiced in the Midwest with a focus on increasing access to veterinary care for underserved communities.

Driven by a passion for shelter medicine and community outreach, she pursued a residency with the University of Wisconsin’s Shelter Medicine Program, where she also earned a master’s degree in Community Engagement and Education. Following her residency, she served as the Medical Director of a large municipal animal shelter in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Eager to relocate to the mountains, Allie is thrilled to be back in clinical practice, providing compassionate, affordable care to the pets and people of Asheville. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys reading, hiking, running, and spending time with her human and fur kids alike.
